In June 2003, the Minister for Revenue and Assistant Treasurer announced a Review of the operation of Part 23 of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 (the SIS Act), which provides financial assistance to superannuation funds that suffer loss as a result of fraudulent conduct or theft. This document contains the outcomes of the Review of Part 23 of the SIS Act. |
