Australia and Grenada Tax Information Exchange Agreement

Abstract:

The Governments of Australia and Grenada have signed an Agreement for the Exchange of Information Relating to Taxes. The Agreement provides for exchange of information on request in both criminal and civil tax matters.

The signing took place on 30 March 2010 in New York, with Consul General Phillip H. Scanlan signing on behalf of Australia and Ambassador Dessima Williams signing for Grenada.

The Agreement will enter into force after Australia and Grenada have advised that they have completed their respective domestic requirements.

The signing of this Agreement was announced by the Assistant Treasurer, the Hon Nick Sherry, in Media Release No. 58 of 2010.
