Exposure of Revised Superannuation Contributions Splitting Regulations

Abstract:

These revised draft regulations give effect to the Government's Superannuation Contributions Splitting policy, as outlined in the 2004 election policy document Super for All and Understanding Money and in the 2005-06 Budget. The revised regulations attempt to address some of the issues arising from the public consultation period which ended on 11 November 2005.

Draft Superannuation Splitting Regulations - 14/10/2003

These draft regulations give effect to the Government's Splitting of Superannuation Contributions policy. Explanatory material for the changes to the RSA regulations has not yet been prepared.

Comments on the draft regulations are invited from all interested parties.
