On 19 January 2010, the Minister for Financial Services, Superannuation and Corporate Law announced the Government's decision to reverse the effect of the High Court's decision in Sons of Gwalia v Margaretic. The Bill also reforms shareholder voting to streamline external administrations and clarifies the position of shareholders bringing claims for damages.

Making a submission

Interested parties are invited to comment on the exposure draft material. While submissions may be lodged electronically or by post, electronic lodgement is preferred. For accessibility reasons, please submit responses sent via email in a Word or RTF format. An additional PDF version may also be submitted.
