Abstract:

The purpose of the Consultation Paper on Proposed Financial Institutions Supervisory Levies for 2011-12 is to seek industry views on the proposed financial sector levies to apply for the 2011-12 financial year.

The paper discusses potential impacts of the proposal on each industry sector and institution regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). The views provided on the paper will be taken into account in the determination of the levies to apply next year.

Making a submission

Interested parties are invited to comment on the paper. While submissions may be lodged electronically or by post, electronic lodgement is preferred. For accessibility reasons, please submit responses sent via email in a Word or RTF format. An additional PDF version may also be submitted.

All information (including name and address details) contained in submissions will be made available to the public on the Treasury website unless you indicate that you would like all or part of your submission to remain in confidence.
