Potential Designated Concession Income Items for Consultation

Abstract:

The Treasurer announced as part of the Review of International Taxation Arrangements (RITA) that the Government will pare back the classes of tainted income treated as eligible designated concession income. The attached consultative list identifies potential specific DCI items for inclusion in amended income tax regulations. They would replace the existing general categories of DCI. The attached list is not a final conclusive list or a Government endorsed list, and has been provided for public comment only.

All submissions or comments may be made publicly available, unless confidentiality is requested. Authors should clearly mark any material that is to be treated as confidential.
